ANR-001.1 is Aneira Pharma's investigational topical formulation currently in clinical trials.  It is a patented formulation combining two active ingredients, minoxidil and latanoprost and a unique vehicle, being studied for its potential to promote hair growth in individuals suffering from hair loss.

Minoxidil and latanoprost have differing mechanisms of action. Minoxidil is a well-established active agent which extends the anagen phase hair growth cycle among other effects. Latanoprost is a prostaglandin which grows hair and stimulates melanocytes and keratinocytes in the hair follicle resulting in hair that is darker and thicker.  ANR-001.1 combines these two agents in a proprietary formulation designed to target multiple pathways involved in hair growth.

ANR-001.1 is very efficacious compared to other topical hair growth products and has a strong safety profile. ANR-001.1 is being investigated as a dual-agent formulation with a novel mechanism of action, designed to target hair growth through a combination approach, not currently available in approved therapies.

ANR-001.1 is currently in active clinical development for both scalp and eyebrow growth.
